For the fifth January in a row, I’m heading back to Rhode Island to start the new year off right with the Contemporary Theater Company. The 11th Annual 24 Hour Play Festival features a totally new format that is sure to challenge the participants and delight the audience. After a developmental workshop with the 4@15 program this spring, Brandon Michael Lowden and Minjoung Hwang’s Let Her Kick has been selected by the National Asian Artists Project for the Discover: New Musicals series. It will be performed by an all-Asian cast as part of an evening of four short musicals (details below).

I’m very pleased to announce that I’ll be doing a set as part of NY Theatre Barn’s New Works Series! Organic subjects such as birds and humans also make occasional appearances in this evening of songs titled More Songs About Machines. Featuring collaborations with Scotty Arnold, Charles Vincent Burwell, Josh Freilich, and Minjoung Hwang.
