The OFFICIAL “Android Ashley” Lyrics

Android Ashley handwritten lyrics

It has come to my attention that a set of slightly inaccurate (and worse — though required by many lyric aggregation sites — unpunctuated) lyrics to “Android Ashley” have been cropping up across the Internet. Because my site analytics tell me that “android ashley lyrics” is by far the most popular Google search that drives traffic here, I thought I’d give the people what they want.

Space Prom! Catch BML at Collab ASO’s 54 Below Concert

Yeah, no, it’s totally cool that I’m not on the poster, Alex

Occasional BML collaborator Alexander Sage Oyen is doing an evening of his songs at 54 Below, including his tune “Prom Night 2208” with lyrics by me. We’ve done this one at his last few shows, but this will be the first time with a full band — so come rock out to YET ANOTHER song I wrote about a robotic woman and a guy named Kyle (I really thought I’d been careful tracking the late 80s boys’ names in my songs), plus ASO’s other jams.

‘Pure Chaos’ at Stepping Stones Children’s Museum in CT

Pure Chaos poster

Pure Chaos, the all-ages math circus musical, will get its premiere production in Connecticut this May at the Stepping Stones Museum for Children. I’ve written lyrics for a very fun song about Newton’s Laws of Motion with music by my wonderful pal Jahn Sood, and the show features songs by a number of wonderful folks — along with some pretty cool math and science stagecraft! If you’ve got a youngster in New England, consider checking it out.
